>>14282It is by its very definition. "It can be succinctly pitched" Okay, what can't? And how the
smurf does that relate to the literal words we're using of "high" and "concept", you'd think that'd be something more abstract which means it is less easy to succinctly describe. And of the things that are commonly described as "high-concept", I would not say that their shared trait is "easily being described", there is just a strong narrative conceit that the film centers around in a "mechanical" way. Like Inception. Sure, then the "concept" is "high" but shit like Inception doesn't even really have clear or good rules. What Wikipedia lists as "high concept" and how it describes it is baffling. It's a "what if?" JAWS is high-concept because WHAT IF BIG SHARK? Alien is high-concept because WHAT IF ALIEN ON A SPACESHIP? What ISN'T high-concept? What ISN'T a what if? What if you stubbed your toe and it started talking to you? Is that high-concept? Pretty simple. But then you can succinctly summarize something like "A man creates his own family tree by impregnating his relatives from the past" even though that film's plot would invariably be convoluted because of the information being presented. Is that also high-concept? It's nothing. It's a meaningless term. It's something you slap on for marketing buzz and the way people use it, even film buffs, carries the complete opposite connotation of what the supposed definition is (an easily described "what if") Hate. HATE.

>>14304I was always baffled by anime and manga's depiction of "normal people" being extremely polite and terse but incredibly gossipy and judgemental since it's almost the exact opposite in America. Americans are sort of brash but talkative and mostly tolerant folks. It seems the Internet is the great equalizer. America and COOL JAPAN are probably the greatest utilizers of soft power and social media is just going to be a combination of the worst of American and Japanese culture. Talking a lot, brash but superficially polite, gossip and purity politics..
Anyway, thanks HotGirlVideos69 for the update. Hope it actually happens.

i've observed this myself using these models and it's not the same as the topic of the image not being interesting to others. people getting annoyed by ai art in an anonymous imageboard thread about a topic they clicked on aren't anti-ai puritans for the most part and i know this because i feel the same way. the images just suck but the person who generated them has a biased perception

Who your protagonist attracts:
*
wwomen (especially late teensâ30s) who like:
* morally gray / villainous female leads
* âshe knows sheâs toxic and owns itâ characters
* Fans of:
* psychological manipulation
* power dynamics
* political intrigue
### Why:
xxx isnât just attractiveâsheâs
in control, unapologetically.
That puts her in the same appeal space as:
* âdominating strategistâ characters
* âfeminine but dangerousâ archetypes
A lot of
wwomen (and some men) are drawn to:
> a female character who doesnât ask for permission to take power### Also attracts:
* Some male audiences, but *specifically* those who like:
* dominant
wwomen * âstep on meâ energy (being honest here)
* intelligence + seduction as weapons
